Business Requirements Document BRD for Sports Event Management App

1. Overview

This document outlines the business requirements for a mobile application designed to simplify the process of organizing a sports event. The app will serve as a platform where users can provide venue, invite participants, and handle payments seamlessly.

2. Scope

This project covers the development of a mobile application with features tailored to facilitate the process of organizing a sports event, tracking participation, and managing payments among participants. The application will support both Android and iOS platforms.

3. Functional Requirements

3.1 User Registration and Profile Management

• Fields: Username, Email, Password, Phone Number
• Actions: Sign Up, Log In, Edit Profile, Reset Password, Add Friends, Create Group Admin vs Members & Admin permission to join or not), Join Group, Exit or Admin remove person from Group
• Permission: Allow event organizer / participants to view phone number
• More fields might be added in Stage 2 (age, gender, etc.)

3.2 Event Organization (Make reference to Facebook Event)

• Allow individual / group admin on behalf of the group to create a sports event including:
• Name description of event
• Type of Events (Basketball / Football / Volleyball / Badminton / Others: Please Specify)
• Date / Time / Venue Venue setting might be integrated with google map in Stage 2)
• Type of participation
